Important information

All materials (fabric, thread etc), all tools and sewing pattern.
You can choose your pattern from my library, or come with your own if it’s beginner appropriate.
You can select your fabric within my available stash, I will make sure to have enough available within your color wishes. -
The course consists of 4 sessions of 2 hours. You can select your preferred timeslot when booking, or select “other” and I will reach out to figure out a schedule together.
Before we start: you send me a broad project idea, color preferences for the fabric and I will prepare a selection of patterns, fabrics and snacks.
On session 1: We confirm the fabrics and pattern, get accustomed to the sewing machine, then we cut the pattern.
On session 2: We cut the fabric, learn to sew straight with confidence, and to iron our project like our life depends on it. Then we start the construction of the project.
On session 3: We sew the project and make edits if necessary
On session 4: We add the finishing touches, test the fit, wrap up and celebrate -
The sessions run weekly on the same day and time, ideally 4 weeks in a row once we get started. After you book I'll reach out within 48 hours to confirm a start date and a schedule that fits us both.
The course is located in my home Studio in Haarlem Noord (5 min biking from Haarlem Station). Once you book I will send you the exact location.
Note that there are 4 cats in the house, all very chill and cute, and on Sundays there may be kids in the house (not in the Studio), also cute but definitely not chill. -
